Private OpenStack Cloud Setup

Register Your OpenStack Cloud

After logging in IMOD you need to go to the Kaavo's IMOD's account profile page, click on ‘Register Your Private Provider’ and fill the required information for the OpenStack Cloud. Currently we are supporting the Cactus release.

• Give a unique name to your Cloud
• Provide the Host URL for the OpenStack Cloud API. If not sure ask your cloud administrator for the API URL.
• Provide the Port (default value is 80) of the Web Services running on your Cloud Controller.

Once you click on ‘Create’ button your Cloud will be registered with IMOD and a hyperlink, with the name of your Cloud, will be added to the Providers tab.

Setup Your Cloud.com Account

After setting up your cloud as a provider in IMOD, click on the corresponding hyperlink created for your Cloud and fill the required information.

• Give a unique name to your OpenStack Account
• Provide the Account ID and Access Key of your account.
• Finally click on Create
