IBM Cloud Setup

To deploy and manage applications and workloads on the IBM cloud you need to first get access to the IBM cloud by signing up at the IBM SmartCloud Enterprise. IMOD edition for IBM cloud is available at https://imod.kaavo.com/?partner=ibm to switch back to the regular edition of IMOD go to https://imod.kaavo.com/?partner=imod. Starting version 2.8 of IMOD, IBM integration is also available from the regular IMOD URL (imod.kaavo.com). Following are the setup steps, additional information is available in the 5 minutes overview video for the IBM Cloud support in IMOD

• After login go to the profile page and click on Setup Accounts
• Enter your IBM Cloud credentials and create account

• After creating account click on the arrow under the Keypair column for the account. On the Keypair page create a new key and make sure to leave save in the server box checked. IMOD communicates with servers in the cloud over SSH and without the key IMOD engine wouldn't be able to connect to the servers and configure them.
