Eucalyptus Sample

Overview

Like other templates provided with IMOD, Eucalyptus Sample template is provided as an example to help users develop their own custom System Definitions. Users are expected to develop their own system definitions or customize the provided solutions for their own needs. The information assumes that the users have basic understanding of deploying and starting systems in IMOD. Please refer to the Quick Start Guide to learn the basics of deploy and starting a system. For uploading files or your custom code to the server refer to the FAQ on how to upload/download file to and from servers in the cloud

What does it do?

Brings online a server on the Eucalyptus cloud and installs and starts the Apache web server system with a single click. After the system is up and running go to http://ip-address-of-launched-server

What deployment time actions/workflows are included in the System Definition?

Installs Apache web server and starts the web server. Also script in the server post-startup sections installs the monitoring agent.

Note: You need to go configure the triggers for the events. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for how to configure triggers.
